Our experience working with the multinational companies and call centers of Costa Rica has led us to develop an intensive job-oriented training program and methodology that prepare our students to work in 2 to 8 weeks.  After conducting an in-depth study into the specific English language needs of our corporate clients, our ESP (“English for Specific Purposes”) training experts designed a challenging, fun, group-based learning experience that accelerates and deepens the language learning process.  Each activity has been meticulously worked to maximize involvement and talk time, improving the fundamental oral language skills: accent, fluency, comprehension.  At the same time grammar concepts are reviewed in a manner that gives the strongest focus to client-oriented exchanges.  The process is so effective that within days, trainees usually demonstrate increased proficiencies and confidence in business communications. 

From the very first day, trainees are thrown into realistic customer service interactions in our networked computer lab which mimics the call center environment.  There they receive a wide array of language and service tests, accent reduction practice, and comprehension development.  The goal: to prepare them to do business in world-class companies throughout in Costa Rica.

Call Center English (Advanced-Intermediate)

This program is for high intermediate speakers of English who need to improve their fluency and accent, as well as prepare for work in a call center. Students are given individualized accent improvement plans, lots of practice speaking, and are continually coached and corrected.


Many students take this course to prepare themselves for FAST TRACK Advanced Call Center English and Job Placement Service.  Others finish the training here and receive general career advice and job search tips.

Students who pass the class will have demonstrated their ability to understand English-speaking customers on the phone in common call center situations, as well as to make themselves clearly understood to native speakers.

Customer Service English (Intermediate)

This program is for intermediate English speakers who need review of foundational grammar and vocabulary, as well as lots of practice speaking and improving their accent. The training prepares students to deal with North American customers, and is intended for students who want to go on to graduate to Call Center English, although it's also helpful to students who want to work with English-speaking customers in any business, including in the tourist industry.
